Viele der Mitverrückten von Simones Crazy BOM Gruppe haben schon ihre Februar Blöcke genäht, aber ich bin froh, dass endlich die Jänner Blöcke fertig sind.
In der Stickerei steckt viel Zeit und davon habe ich momentan nicht viel, aber zwischendurch geht sich dann doch aus, eine Naht zu verzieren. Ganz glücklich bin ich mit dem Ergebnis nicht, weil es mehr wie ein Mustertuch, als ein harmonisches Ganzes ist, bin schon gespannt, wie sich das bis Dezember ändern wird.
Many members of Simone's Crazy BOM group have already finished their February blocks, but I am just happy that my January blocks are finished.
The stitching is very time consuming, something I don’t have so much at the moment. But I took some time to do some stitches in between. I am not so happy about the way it looks,it looks more like a collection of stitches than harmonious alltogether, but I have time to work on it till December.
Sehr viel Spaß hat es mir gemacht die Aufgaben der Stickamazonen zu nach zu arbeiten, sie sind eine tolle Kombination aus verschiedenen Stichen und besonders der geknotete Rautenstich hat meine ganze Aufmerksamkeit gefordert. Es lohnt sich bei den Amazonen vorbei zu schauen! Es gibt pro Monat 2 Aufgaben und manchmal (so wie jetzt gerade) auch Spezialaufgaben.
It was alot of fun to do the stitches presented on the Stickamazonen blog, they present great stitch combinations and the knotted diamond stitch demanded my full attention. It is worth taking a look at their blog from time to time, because two times a month they present a stitching comination and sometimes a special combination (as they have at the moment).
